What TikTaal is

TikTaal is a Dutch language learning app. It provides scenario-based lessons, vocabulary review, and grammar reference for learners at levels A0 through B2. Some features are free; others require a paid subscription.

Accounts

You can use TikTaal without an account. Creating an account gives you cloud-synced progress and access to paid features. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. One account per person.

Payments and subscriptions

TikTaal Pro is available as a monthly subscription at €9.99/month or a one-time lifetime payment of €69. Payments are processed by Stripe. Your subscription renews automatically each month until you cancel.

You can cancel your subscription at any time through the subscription management page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

Refund policy

If you are not satisfied, contact us via our contact form within 30 days of your purchase for a full refund. No questions asked.

What you can and cannot do

You can use TikTaal for personal language learning.

You may not:

• Copy, redistribute, or resell TikTaal's scenario content, vocabulary lists, or grammar reference materials
• Use automated tools to scrape or bulk-download content
• Share your account with others or create multiple accounts to circumvent payment
• Use the service to do anything illegal

Intellectual property

All scenario content, vocabulary data, grammar explanations, and the TikTaal name and branding belong to TikTaal. You do not gain ownership of any content by using the service.

Availability

We aim to keep TikTaal available, but we cannot guarantee 100% uptime. We may take the service down for maintenance. We are not liable for any losses caused by downtime.

Limitation of liability

TikTaal is a language learning tool. We do our best to ensure the Dutch content is accurate, but we are not liable for errors in translations, grammar explanations, or vocabulary. Do not rely on TikTaal as your sole source for official documents, legal translations, or exam preparation.

Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months before the claim.

Account termination

You can delete your account via our contact form. We may terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If we make significant changes, we will notify users by email (if we have your email) or by posting a notice on the site. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes will be handled by the courts in the Netherlands.
